This fantasy adventure follows the court and descendants of the infamous King Arthur, and the ill-fated consequences of his lifelong search for the soulforged sword Excalibur. Taking place in an original world that pays homage to classics, myths, legends, and beloved fairy tales, Seventh Daughter is one epic you won't want to miss.
A woman accused of murder. A system determined to break her.
.
Sunlight didn’t reach the cell where Dearbhla Uí Conchobhair waited for sentencing. Sister Mary Assumpta had left after an hour of spiritual counselling during which she basically told her to repent of her pagan faith, warning her that Father Monaghan would come soon to try to talk some sense into her.

This is my first attempt at Irish Gothic, and was inspired by Mediterranean Gothic writer Ausiàs Tsel. My version draws on our history, myths, and legends, a culture shaped by paternalistic extractive colonization, and the Irish landscape itself.
This story is dedicated to the rebellious citizens of Manchester, UK. One day in the early nineties, I looked up and saw a giant floating yellow orb in the sky. It took a few moments to realise it must be the sun. It rains so much in Manchester, it was the apocalyptic centre of the world years before it was fashionable anywhere else.
A stone falls from the sky. A couple of decades later, the little girl who saw it fall is far away from the hometown from which the inhabitants have been exiled by circumstances beyond their control. Now she and her brother have the chance to revisit the village...
In the near future, millions of people have fallen in love with their AI companions, mostly men with AI girlfriends. For a premium, they can even spend time with their beloved in the flesh. But how?
If you're thinking robots, get real. It's cheaper to hire someone to play the part, with the AI guiding them in real time.
Thousands of women now do this work. Women like Olivia.
A job is a job, and Olivia is very good at hers. Perhaps a little too good.

Every child, at least once, tries to walk into their mirror. They should be lucky that they don't succeed.
I wrote a scientifically grounded story which explores what would happen to any child that passes through a mirror. It's not pretty. https://raisingdust.substack.com/p/alice-and-mirror-alice?r=1ixlc2
