I'm sure you'll come up with something amazing, Natalie! I have considered writing sessions and virtual meetups before, but never had the time. As the community grows, Winston may end up doing one. We just need a 32 hour day. 🤣
Here is my fantasy/horror story, "Conjugation", set in England in the early twentieth century. A young man receives a mysterious invitation to the home of an aristocratic family. His own family is linked to this family in some way.
I am not sure the story fully fits with the holiday criterion in the prompt, so if it is disqualified that's fine. The prompt was wonderful fun to work with.
Hey, Douglas, you can post it here if you like and then you can also post it in the discussion thread that I'll run next week (called The Gathering). I'm happy to provide exposure wherever it makes sense for people. 👍
Sci-fi prompt is great! But this would be my first rodeo, Brian, I need some help. How does it work? I write the story and then I tag Lunar Awards to say I'm in?
Hey, Michael, happy to have you on board! In a few weeks, I'll launch a discussion thread for everyone to post their stories. No need to do anything else. The Prompt Quest is separate from the awards themselves.
Great prompts - my brain is already whirring!
Hmm, the fantasy prompt sounds the most interesting to me.
Looking forward to a contribution from you, Ugo!
Thank you so much!
Already thinking up scenarios. Now I'm wondering if we could have a Pro Quest write-along session!

Haha, there is no disqualification, and I'm just happy the prompt led you to writing a story!
Do we publish links to our stories here, Brian? Almost done!

Thanks.
Thanksgiving in Durnarn sounds interesting!
Oooh, I was just thinking I needed to write a winter solstice story … and pushed it off to next year. Maybe not!
Perfect timing! I hope you can contribute, Leanne, and I look forward to reading.

Got it! Thanks, Brian.
Hmm, that's a tricky one. I shall muse on it in the shower.
🤣 Muse away, Evelyn. I have full confidence in you.
I almost missed this; glad I didn't! This was fun!
