I think I did 12,000 in a crazy NaNoWriMo sprint a few years ago but it was so bad I couldn't use any of it. I aim for somewhere between 250 - 500 words an hour but don't tend to spend more than 4h writing fiction.
That's about where I'm at as well. I will usually do 1-2 hours per session. I can't really fit in longer sprints than that.
