The submission window for Round One of Season 10 of the Lunar Awards has officially closed.
We received 35 eligible entries, which means I’ll step in to narrow it down to 30. As stated in the Season 10 Explained post, I’ll use the same rubric and judging standards to determine which stories are presented to the judge. All stories will be included in the final post for promotional and celebratory purposes.
Thanks for taking the time to contribute and be a crucial part of these awards. It wouldn’t happen without your stories. I appreciate all of the wonderful feedback and excitement. I look forward to reading your work!
For everyone who wrote new stories, whether it was based on one of the prompts or not, you should be incredibly proud. It’s not easy to develop a short story in less than two weeks. So hats off to you!

Prompt Quest Discussion
Did you write a story based on one of our two prompts? Here’s your chance to share it and talk about it with other members of the community. If it’s not complete yet, that’s okay, too. Whenever it’s finished, link it in the comments of this post and we’ll share it at the end of the round.
Here's my submission, based off the Many Moons prompt:
